My favorite thing is to tutor children in math, reading and language arts. It's very special to me, as I have raised four sons, and delight in all their accomplishments. My education and experience have pointed me in this direction for quite some time. I hold a Master's degree in Education and a Bachelor's degree in Social Psychology.
I have experience in tutoring children, and in training adults as well. I worked for General Electric as a Training Coordinator whereby I held seminars in Management Skills, Supervisory Skills and also Safety Training through the American Red Cross.
I work for Professional Tutors of America during their seasonal tutoring needs for a program known as "No Child Left Behind". I thoroughly enjoy this one on one educational process.
Now, my main goal is to tutor children in the subjects they really need to excel in early on in their educational life. So, I now devote myself to these subjects; math, reading and language arts, whereby we start at the student's level of knowledge and bring them up to at least one, possibly two levels above where they are currently. I use the current curriculum with all students.
