I am a college graduate and have a lot of real work experience. I believe tutoring is not just about grades or passing classes; tutoring has to be made relevant to the real world. Things must be applicable or else learning will go to waste. I will help your child or any adult relate to what he or she is learning by using real life applications to help them understand.
My real world experience come from being a probation officer and working with incarcerated youth. I have helped those with troubled pasts to overcome their shortcomings and help them get an education and a job. I have tons of patience and I feel learning is more conducive when it is applicable to the real world.
I specialize in all areas of elementary and high school education and am particularly strong in mathematics. I have a lot of experience with children and am extremely patient. I have tutored kids from 5 years old to 17 years old in all subjects and I have also coached youth sports mainly in tennis and bowling.
