Born and raised in Spain, I attended the Spanish Merchant Marine Academy, where I obtained undergraduate and graduate degrees. Once I settled in U.S.A., I studied undergraduate philosophy at UCLA and graduate at UC Berkeley, and also worked in the Information Technology field at Pac Tel and Bell Labs, among others.
Today retired, I have been teaching all levels of Spanish at The Commonwealth Club of San Francisco and tutoring for over 12 years. I derive great pleasure tutoring, given the opportunity it offers to observe immediate results.
Having moved to my current residence recently, I look forward to continue applying my diverse knowledge base and many years of experience to help others reach their academic goals.
To transform a student's initial insecurity into a joyful and well-founded confidence is always both my aim and chief reward.
