Greetings all!

I am a graduate from Cal State University, Northridge, CA with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design, now in my mid 30s. However, since my interests varied widely throughout life, I am able to provide my knowledge and skills attained in a variety of academic areas. I consider myself a chameleon or a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to my skills and teaching others. I have tutored others in the past in a wide range of ages, as well as tutoring young children to play the game of chess while working for "Academic Chess". My goal is to make learning, not just as easy as possible, but also as fun as possible! I do have a special gift for interpreting concepts in a visual manner for each student to better understand and adapt to learning a specific topic. Everyone learns at different rates in different methods. Therefore, it is only responsible to adapt to such differences between students and teach accordingly.

Currently, I am reliable and very flexible with my schedule and I may also be available on weekends. I have a cell phone on me often to answer and/or return calls fast. I receive emails on my phone, for added convenience to others.

Astronomy

I would be happy to assist with your needs of better understanding Astronomy. I studied at CSUN. Although I did not major in Astronomy there, the subject has been my greatest fascination in life whereas I have studied it extensively from far back as I can remember up until the point it encouraged me to take some courses on the topic to learn even more. Also, I regularly make it a point to take regular trips to our Griffith Observatory in Griffith Park to keep myself well-informed of current events and new discoveries deep into the unknown of outer space. Allow me to take your mind on a trip through space and seek the knowledge you require.

Chess

Previously employed as a tutor for approximately one-year for "Academic Chess" Company. Through this employment, I taught children to learn the moves of the chess pieces on into full game strategies.

Drawing

Received an Associates Degree in Fine Arts from Los Angeles Pierce College of Woodland Hills, CA in 1999. Being a Fine Art major, my main focus of discipline was actually "Drawing Concentration". I am well-versed at rendering almost anything, from technical hand-drawings to artistic expression drawings of people's facial portraits, landscapes and much more.

General Computer

In terms of considering my knowledge in General Computer usage, I would say it is rather extensive. I know vast array of commands, comprehension of the latest Windows OS's on the market, including ways to utilize a computer to help simplify typical daily life tasks and/or projects needed to be organized.

And, if I don't know the answer off the bat, because no one knows every program completely head to toe, I am confident I'll be able find the answer, as I am equally quite resourceful with most things in my personal life.

Microsoft Excel

I have used Excel at many Bank and Financial institutions where I have worked.
