I consider myself a life-long student. As a postdoctoral fellow with 14 years of education and training, I am still expanding my breadth of knowledge. The key to continuous learning to effectively connect new content with ideas the student already understands. This is my strategy for all tutees.

I am postdoctoral fellow with excellent biology skills. In addition, I excel in English, history, psychology and philosophy. I completed my undergraduate education at NYU and graduate education at Mount Sinai School of Medicine before coming to Stanford for my postdoctoral research. I am particularly adept at tutoring student in standardized exams such as the SAT, SAT subject exams, ACT and the MCAT. Tutoring in VERBAL is one of my favorite subjects and I have scored in the 99% in both the GRE and the MCAT. I am available during the evening on weekdays and anytime during the weekend.

As a lifelong student, I understand the need for feedback. I encourage all of my students to post feedback on our sessions so we can achieve greater understanding together.

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. College Counseling

I have extensive personal experience with applications for higher education. I recently completed my graduate studies at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and attended New York University for my undergraduate studies.

I have assisted numerous students write essays for college and graduate admissions in the last 7 years. I participated in an outreach program at Mount Sinai specifically for this purpose.

MCAT

The Medical College Admissions Test is required to enter medical school. Its test students problem-solving ability in physics, chemistry, organic chemistry, biology and verbal reasoning. While an undergraduate at New York University I performed well in all of these requisite pre-med classes. Additionally, I have personally taken the exam and scored a composite score of 32, with a 13 in verbal, 10 in physical sciences, and 9 in biological sciences,

Since graduating from NYU and entering graduate school at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, I have tutored students studying for the MCAT. Additionally, I have other teaching experience as a teaching assistant for a graduate course entitled "Molecular and Cellular Neurobiology.

The key to excelling in Verbal sections is use the information given combined with your own knowledge. Practice will certainly solidify this skill. It is my desire to impart a passion for critical reading and thinking to each student I encounter.

In teaching a student to improve the writing, the first step is to understand it is a process. I employ a rhetoric based writing style that focuses a student on his message and his audience.
