Hi everyone and Happy New Year,
My name is Molitika Paongo V. I am currently a full-time math faculty at Salt Lake Community College in Salt Lake, Utah since 1993. I started my teaching career way back after I graduated from high school in 1976. I was hired to teach math full-time for Liahona High School in 1977. Entered Brigham Young University-Hawaii Campus in 1978 and graduated with a BS in Mathematics in June of 1982. In Fall of 1982, I enrolled at Brigham Young University-Provo Campus and graduated in June 1984 with a Master's Degree in Mathematics. Because I had to support my family financially, I was hired by San Juan School Teaching to teach at Whitehorse High School in August 1984. In the end of the same school year, I was awarded the "Best Teacher of the Year." Moreover, our high school received the Governor's Award for the best math program in Utah...the rest of my teaching career in high school and colleges are history.
My wife is taking care of her 93 years old dad in the Bay Area. So, I am taking a Personal Leave this Spring Semester to help my mom(she is in a Rehabilitation Center) from Monday to Wednesday in Salt Lake City, and I also commute every Thursday morning to come and assist my wife and her dad and then head back to Salt Lake Sunday afternoon. My wife retired from Southwest Airline, and that's why I afford to travel.
If you need more information about me, I can forward references, letters of recommendations from past administrators and students. Contact me, if you need my service. I will be available to help you on Wednesday to Saturday during this Spring Semester, and anytime starting in June.
