I consider myself a Renaissance Man when it comes to subjects I am able to tutor. I have knowledge and skills in a large number of fields that would make me an ideal candidate to instruct those seeking help through tutoring.
I believe that the key to education is context in that the key to understanding anything is making the learner understand the subject in his or her terms. Once this is accomplished, the learning process is not only easier; it is far more fun for both the learner and the instructor.
I am a graduate of University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a B.A in History. My work as a substitute teacher in many districts throughout Cape Cod has helped me to be prepared to cover a variety of subjects in many different grades.
I am also pursuing a double certification/licensure in History (MAT) and Special Education, with emphasis on Modern Disabilities at Bridgewater State University.
I have always had a passion for social studies and its ever-increasing relevance in today’s culture. I am particularly adept at English composition and writing and other subjects as listed on my profile.
