I have spent 33 years as an IBM executive, managing development projects up to 200 professionals in computers, banking and self service units. I am the father of the magnetic striped card and ticket. I am a computer system architect and security system designer. I am a senior world wide bank industry consultant working with most of the major banks of the world. I'm a frequent speaker at the Computer History Museum on bank industry evolution. I have been a participant in national task forces for the US congress, and part of the department of justice and American Bankers' Association. I am a recognized authority on bank card systems and the new smart card systems. I am also the author of 27 books, the most recent in 2012 on "Bank on your Smartphone."
