Hi. I'm Bob, a semi-retired psychologist and neuroscientist. I will not advertise tutoring in '10 + subjects.' I promise you the best tutoring in just two subjects - applied psychology and psychophysiology. These two subjects are huge fields, and I will discuss with you weather I am what you need: no harm, no foul. Special areas include experimental psychology subjects like perception, statistics, design, and methodology; sports physiology; stress psychology subjects like motivation, PTSD, and anxiety-depression; and clinical-emotional topics like personality theories, psychodynamics, and psychopharmacology. Over the years, I have taught them all.
I trained at the University of Minnesota, majoring in psychology and minoring in medical sciences, including medical physiology. I taught in Quebec and France, then returned to California, were I combined under-graduate and graduate-level teaching with working in hospitals, clinics and even prisons, a very interesting carrier. I am a docent lecturer in Substance Abuse at UCLA. I continue my interest in neuroscience, and hope to be able to convey both he knowledge and the excitement I get as we continue to learn about the human condition.
