My graduate study in applied cognitive psychology at Claremont Graduate University (CGU) has provided me valuable insight and skills in teaching and research. As a teaching assistant, I have learned how to prepare material for courses including making quiz, grading exams and designing course text in power point foment, and how to solve students’ questions and build their research ideas. I am especially good at statistics and SPSS. I had experience in teaching statistics and SPSS for college students.
In addition, my greater strength and enthusiasm lie in teaching, as evidenced in my job by teaching people with psychiatric barriers such as the children from single-parent families, disabled people, and juvenile delinquents. Promoting education is my goal and therefore I should keep pursuing until I am in such a position to assist people in thriving in their knowledge and improving to utilize it. My determination and potential are well evidenced by the following accomplishments: three-year teaching experience, four-year data analysis experience, and statistics and computer application (i.e., excel and SPSS) certified from CGU.
