I received my two university degrees in Mexico. I am able to help teach proper language in the four areas: speaking (pronunciation), writing, reading and understanding/interpreting. I am also able to help children with the Montessori strategies as well as middle or high scholars with Spanish levels I, II, III or IV. In addition, Spanish majoring college students can get extra help on the writing essays process and/or literature. Spanish for Spanish Native Speakers is another possibility to provide help emphasizing on grammar rules, accent marks and paragraph structure.
Because Spanish must be practiced in order to learn/improve, I will divide the tutoring session in three different parts to mainly cover the speaking, writing and understanding areas. In order to reaffirm each session content, homework is optional depending on the students or parents' decision. Technology may be used; however, one-on-one tutoring must be the goal avoiding to use English during the instructional session. As a regular school course, the vocabulary and grammar gradually have to become more complex until the Spanish learner gains the confidence enough to speak and understand properly in context.
The selected books, educational materials or additional resources will be part of the agreement with each student/parent. The same discussion about types of preliminary, ongoing or final assessment/evaluation can be agreed and scheduled.
