I am a tutor for math and computer programming. I try my hardest to make sure that a student understands the material, rather than just memorizing a formula. I am patient, and love to see people understand what they are doing.
I graduated from Palos Verdes Peninsula High School with a weighted GPA of 4.2 and SAT math score 800. I attended UCLA as a Computer Science major as well. I am currently attending UMass Boston to finish my undergraduate curriculum.
I worked at Boeing Satellite Systems for over two years, where I coded all of my projects in C. I understand the difference between C and C++, and can do the "top-down" approach which C suggests. I enjoy using C and have written many independent projects in it as well.
I was a Computer Science major at UCLA, where we coded primarily in C++. I have held several software programming jobs in the past where we coded in C++, and I understand everything from basic operations to data structures and polymorphism. I understand the importance of object-oriented design, and always encourage my students to do the same.
