I am a teacher.
I believe in life long learning.
I believe that all students can learn most any subject with the right teaching approach. Unfortunately, most school systems are unable to creatively adapt to each student's unique learning style. For example, I was an average student in my undergraduate college days. The classes were large and I could not ask a question. In graduate school, the average class size was eight students. As a result, I performed exceptionally well earning significant graduate fellowships. I have gifted grandchildren and grandchildren that need special help. The school system does not adequately help either child. As a teacher, I try to plug this gap.
I am a successful teacher, entrepreneur and author. I have founded three technology companies in California, written nine business books and three fiction novels and have returned with my wife and family to my roots in Kansas. I am semi-retired, an active tennis player and genuinely believe that education sets a person free. What better way to live than as a teacher? I have taught hundreds of people in graduate schools and at seminars. I have learned that teachers must be adaptable to the learning styles of the student.
My specialties are business subjects from finance to marketing and most any computer software. I purchased my first computer in 1982 and have always been an early adopter of computer technology. I testify in court as an expert on software and business issues.
People, that know me or have worked for me, all tell me I am an effective teacher.
I do not have a single tutoring method, as I tailor and adapt my approach to the learning style of the student.
