I am a professional engineering manager. Engineering, science, math, computers, and general knowledge are my passion. I love life and what it brings us to explore. I caught the teaching bug when I became an instructor for the Navy. I was an associate professor at Palomar College teaching assembly line workers to become Electronic Technicians. This included elementary math, physics, and electronic theory. I have mentored individuals, groups, and colleagues. I have taught foreign student where English was not their first language. I have an unique ability to relate to students at their level yet stretch their minds with stimulating words and questions. I taught my own daughter multiplication in 4th grade, bringing her to the top in her class, using discarded math books. I try to have my students learn to think, not just learn.
