I am a certificated teacher who works as an instructional assistant in an autism spectrum disorder program and am very experienced with working with autistic students.
I have a multiple subject credential and am proficient at teaching and tutoring all subjects, including but not limited to language, math, social studies, science, oral presentations, and especially the basic foundations of language, such as phonics.
I have a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and work as an Instructional Assistant in Special Ed in a public elementary school. I have tutored students in 6 San Diego County school districts for a total of 8 years. I mostly tutor students at the elementary school level or upper grade students whose skills or needs are at the elementary school level.

I have tutored for approximately 8 years to students who are mostly at the elementary school level or upper grade students who are reading or have language arts skills and needs at the elementary school level, with an emphasis on English Language learners.

I use a sign-sound chart, fluency selections like read naturally, as well as programs like signs for sounds, explode the code, and activities that I create as needed.
