I'm currently a student pursuing a Biochemistry degree at the University of San Diego, and double-minoring in both Biology and Chemistry. I have completed all of the "general education" portions of my studies, and have kept almost all of my textbooks for my various classes.
As it is, I have maintained a GPA at USD of 3.2 over two semesters, and graduated Palomar Community College with a GPA of 3.7. I have tutored my peers before and pride myself on finding ways to explain the complex problems to them in a way that can be understood.
Though I am training to be a scientist, I also have a vast and abiding love for theology and literature, and score phenomenally high marks in both of those fields. I have been praised for the professionalism that is prevalent in my writing, and can help anyone with proofreading, essay-building and brainstorming for writing projects. I attended Catholic School for almost all of my learning career, and as such, have been exposed to almost all levels of theology, and can easily explain the basics and some of the more complex ideas of the major world religions.
I enjoy teaching in a relaxed, conversational way, where a large amount of information is presented in small "chunks" that are easy to understand, using knowledge like building blocks to construct a solid base for the student to stand on and continue working. I very much like being friendly with those that I tutor, and always try and ensure that the tutoring is as comfortable as possible while being as fruitful as possible.
