I have a passion for mathematics, technology, and teaching. I believe that each student learns differently, thus I provide each student with personalized and individualized instruction. I am a disciplinarian and hold my students to high academic standards. I can accurately assess student knowledge gaps as well as learning deficiencies, and help strengthen these gaps quickly. Finally, I have both real life and theoretical experience on the subject matter.
A bit on my background: As a child I was the Olympic Mathematics champion in Beijing, China. In high school I received perfect mathematics score on my SAT and completed AP Calculus during my junior year with flawless AP scores. I attended University of Arizona at age 17 majoring in Applied Mathematics (top 10 in the US at the time) on full scholarship, teaching numerous classes as well as tutoring K-12 students at a learn center. After graduation, I taught Grade 8-12 in a charter school for year, raising the school's AIMS passing rate from 0% to 60% within a short year. Afterwards I worked 5 years as Systems Engineer for the largest digital education company in the world; 3 years as Software Development Lead for a Fortune 500 company; and currently I am the System Architect of the largest medical comparative database software in the US.
However none of that is important. The most important question is whether I can help you with your math needs. If you are a student in dire need then I will do my best to help you.
