Photography helps students learn to 'think outside of the box' and to view their world in a new way. Creative training has been proven to enhance learning in many ways. As my student, we break down how a 35 mm digital camera works, along with the concepts of aperture, shutter speed, lighting concepts, etc. You and/or your child or teen will learn how to visually format a 'shot' and find their own style. They will learn about reciprocity and how to use settings on a camera to illicit different effects. They will learn to shoot in low light, they will learn flash photography, and they will learn the concepts of macro photography. Sky is the limit on the areas that you wish to explore. I am a working photographer. I have done many assignments for businesses and for musical acts. Recently I completed photography/album art for a local Los Angeles act. The student should have a 35mm digital camera to use for the tutoring. I can also help with any/essay/report/physical photography projects that the student may need. I am dependable, love kids, patient and creative. I love to see the student have their 'aha!' moments and most of all love to foster a love of creating imagery via photography.
