I am a patient and knowledgeable tutor in math and science with a PhD Degree in Physics from University of Rochester (NY) and a BS Degree from the top university in China.

I used to work as a "Rocket Scientist" in a prominent National Laboratory in US, and also used to work as an Algorithm Engineer in leading edge tech companies. I have been a tutor/instructor in math and science since 2008.

I enjoy working with kids, helping them become more interested and more confident in math and science. I am especially good at encouraging and helping high school girls who struggle with math/science.

The subjects I teach and tutor are:
AP Calculus AB & BC;
AP Physics; Physics;
Pre_Calculus; Algebra_2;
Chemistry;
SAT Math;
SAT Subject Physics & Chemistry.

I also teach and tutor MCAT during the summer.

Best physics tutor ever — I have taken a few different physics courses and each time, I have hired a tutor. Eileen was by far the best that I have worked with. She understands any problem you throw at her, and does a great job of working through the material with you. I found her sessions to be more helpful than the 7 hours a week I spent in the classroom with my professor. Highly recommend. ...
