I have been teaching my entire adult life, mostly to other adults, but also at every school grade from pre-school through college - really, every grade. My specialty is in how people learn, and the subjects I tutor include Statistics, Psychology, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, etc.). I also can help you with study skills and organizing your time so studying comes easier.
I graduated college with a BS in Psychology with special focus on Social Psychology, and a minor in Biology. I earned my MS in Organizational Behavior while teaching public school, and earned another Master Certificate in Instructional Design. I also studied at Microsoft to earn a Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS) certification.
From public schools, I moved to teaching college classes and worked for a computer applications training company, giving me a lot of experience teaching and consulting. Most recently my career has continued in corporate education, creating and teaching programs so employees know everything they need to do their jobs well.
My teaching and tutoring is always centered around you, the learner. I believe in starting at the student's level and working at the student's pace to achieve the student's goals. I have seen this individualized approach work for three year olds, 83 year olds, and every age in between.
