I believe my varied experiences have given me a wide range of resources to pull from when tutoring students. When I first received my credential back in 2000, I worked as a substitute teacher for Sonoma County. Since then, I have been teaching full time in various different grades, subjects and countries. I taught High School English and Science at a private school in Belize, Music in Carson City Nevada, Environmental Education in Grass Valley, Bishop and Redding, and a self contained multiple grade classroom in Romania. I have effectively taught all grades from K through 11th and all subjects in the past 8 years. Recently I left teaching to become a full time wife and mother, but I love to work with students when I can. I love tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to touch kids lives and still work from home.

I started teaching elementary school age when I was 13. My father and grandmother were both teachers while I was growing up, and I learned early that is where my gifting was. As soon as I was old enough, I began teaching swimming at a local pool and continued teaching Sunday school at my church. Ballroom Dancing

Is there anything more glorious then sweeping around the ballroom in a beautiful dress being led in a graceful flourish by your partner? I have found little that compares. I have been dancing my entire life. Ballet was my thing from when I was very young. As a young child, my mother could not keep me off my toes, so she enrolled my in a local ballet class.
