Hi,

My name is Karen and I am a Math instructor/tutor. I teach part time at Napa Valley College and otherwise supplement my income by tutoring privately. I love the challenge and satisfaction that comes from teaching. References from my students are available upon request.

I have an undergraduate degree from a liberal arts college in Iowa, Cornell College. I then received my Masters in Applied Mathematics from Colorado State University. My GPA has always been high as I am a dedicated student and loved the material!

After graduation I went into telecommunications but, after 15 years doing that, I knew I wanted to talk to people and not computers which is when I went into education. I have taught both high school as well as community college level. Again, I love the teaching experience.
