Thank you for the opportunity to tell you about myself. I have been an educator for over 20 years, teaching all grades, plus special education and resource. I also have done Home Hospital teaching and I have tutored students throughout my teaching history. Currently, I am teaching Sociology at Mount San Jacinto Campus, and I am the Independent Learning Coordinator for Adult Ed. I love teaching, and my passion is helping students succeed in education. I volunteer to help students study for the California Exit Examination and I assist students with study skills.
My tutoring style is very personal, in that I strive to match my style with the learning style of the student (I gave done much research on learning styles). I measure the success of the tutoring by taking pre-tests and post-tests. I am very patient and I want my students to feel free to ask as many questions as they need to.
I am looking forward to working with you!
Ms Fitz
