I have a love for English and a passion for teaching and aiding others. I tutored at my university's writing center helping students with English 101 and 102 essays and coursework. I also created and taught the first ever introductory English course to a group of 51 ESL students at Emmanuel Theological Seminary in Kota, India in July 2013. I graduated with a degree in English Literature from Arizona State University, maintaining a 3.55 GPA in all English coursework (45 upper division credit hours), and am presently a graduate student working toward my MA degree in TESOL.
I know that English in general, and writing specifically, can be intimidating, but I am a firm believer that the "first should be the worst." Knowing that your first draft, your first attempt at a new subject or idea might be bad (and it is allowed to be) makes it less scary, and gives you the confidence that it can only get better--yes your teachers are right, there is power in multiple drafts!
I offer tutoring at your local coffee shop or library or online!
