The past nine years of my life have been a whirlwind adventure of learning:
I received my BS and MS in physics
at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA. For the duration, I was always taking a minimum of six courses per semester.
The past four years I spent working on my PhD in computational biophysics in Heinrich Heine Universität Düsseldorf in Germany.
Now I have a passion for learning that I want to spread. I excel
at helping people feel they understand the material better:
Previous clients have noted that I am able to take seemingly complex problems and make them very understandable. What this means for a client is that I identify weak points in ways that they think and teach them to re-frame hard problems as simple ones in ways that are emotionally supportive.
I have an extensive background with math
, and statistics
I have seen basically every physics problem a student is going to bring to me. I have an intuitive sense of how to approach the new ones I haven't seen. I've been at the forefront of research and enjoy doing calculations about how the world exists.
Learning math has been part and parcel to learning these physics skills. Math is the language
of physics. I understand the rules of math, and how to bend them. I know shortcuts that make work easier, but there are also some concepts that take a while to digest, and I'm there to help you understand them.
But when push comes to shove, there are some facts:
All of the students I've tutored have received 5's on every AP that they've worked on with me. All of the students I've tutored who have followed my outlined study plans have received A's in their classes.
