To whomever it may concern:
Currently, I'm a student at Wesleyan University. I am majoring and minoring in Foreign Languages and Mathematics, respectively. I've had several years of experience tutoring various age groups and abilities. In general, I like to allow the family members or parents to govern how I help their child/sibling to best meet his/her needs. I am open to tutoring in several areas, but my strengths lie in Spanish, French, math (arithmetic - calculus AB), chemistry, and English grammar/handwriting. I try to introduce my tutees to various methods of learning. I, for instance, learn better when I write (and read as I write) information or participate in kinesthetic activities and do something with that information, such as saying it out loud (like explaining it to a friend). Thank you for taking time out of your day to consider me as potential tutor.
P.S. Because I don't have a car and because I don't have a driver's license I wouldn't be able to travel more than 1 mile from the Wesleyan University campus to meet with someone for tutoring; however, I am more than willing to negotiate my hourly rate to compensate for the amount of money spent on transportation to and from Wesleyan Uni other mutually agreed hourly rate.
