I earned my B.A. Psychology from California State University, Northridge in December 2012 while concurrently taking pre-medical courses. I graduated with a a grade point average of 3.4 (3.84 in psychology). I was also on the Dean's List for academic achievement during the Fall 2007, Spring 2010, Fall 2011, Spring 2012, and Fall 2012 semesters.
I previously worked as a tutor at Academic Advantage for 2 years. I worked one-on-one with high school students in math subjects such as pre-algebra, algebra, and introductory statistics. I gave pre- and post-assessments to evaluate student needs and improvements. I also created and lead lesson plans and activities to comprehend the material. And most importantly, communicated with parents about their students' progress.
I am also currently a Senior Research Assistant in the Neuroscience Lab of the Psychology Department at California State University, Northridge with knowledge in event-related potential (ERP), electroencephalography (EEG), and neurofeedback (NFB) to name a few. I also have presented research at the professional conferences of Society for Neuroscience (SfN) and Western Psychological Association (WPA).
