Hello, everyone. My name is Evgeniya.

I am a native Russian speaker who moved to LA a few years ago. I used to be a teacher of English in Russia: I taught children of 5-18 years old to speak English, adults who needed to know English for business purposes. Now I will be happy to help everyone who is interested in knowing more about the Russian language and its magnificent culture.

I like languages myself and have been studying Italian and French languages for a while. Thus, I understand how hard it gets sometimes to understand the grammar and memorize all words. However, personally I developed several techniques that help me grasp as much as possible and improve my language skills. Perhaps, they will be useful to those who want to start speaking the Russian language.

I believe that a simple word memorizing does not work. I utilize everything: starting with visual aids, games, movies to organizing language meetings. There should be a fun and friendly atmosphere that makes it work. I am a demanding teacher at times, but my former students acknowledge that it worked best for them. Persistence and patience are the main words that help you learn the language.
