Summer is a great time to get a head start on math and physics topics for next school year, or to learn how to program. I'd love to help you achieve your goals!
I received my PhD in mechanical engineering (robotics) from Stanford University, and I specialize in teaching physics, math, and programming. In addition to private tutoring of middle and high school students, I teach courses in mechanical engineering at SJSU, and I was a teaching assistant in 4 courses at Stanford. Students gave me top ratings in teaching effectiveness due to my enthusiasm and clarity.
As someone with expertise in the very multi-disciplinary field of robotics, I can help you relate seemingly disconnected topics to each other to improve your understanding of the "big picture." I use lots of props, physical demos, and multi-media elements to explain concepts, which is particularly useful for spatial thinkers and kinesthetic learners.
