My favorite subject has always been mathematics, so my favorite occupation is to teach mathematics. In my teaching, I hope to help students get past the frustration and headaches associated with crunching numbers and reach the point of enjoying and exploring mathematics.
I have been tutoring math for 9 years now, and I am comfortable with all ages of students, from young elementary school students to college students. I have experience tutoring the following math subjects: Elementary Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Single Variable Calculus, Multi Variable Calculus and Differential Equations.
We can either focus on a class you are in, preparing for exams and working on homework together, or we could prepare for a standardized exam, such as the SAT or GRE. I have a very flexible schedule, and I can work late at night. I can also travel outside of my 10 mile radius (from Mountain View) for an additional fee. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions.
My educational background is as follows:
MS in Applied Mathematics at UC Davis, 2013
GPA: 3.5
BS in Mathematics-Economics at UCLA, 2009
GPA: 3.61
High School Diploma at Agoura High School, 2005
GPA: 4.0
