I'm a native English speaker with a Master's Degree in Spanish and a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Language & Culture, both from Cal State Northridge. I speak, read and write Spanish fluently. Like most people who learn Spanish as a second language, I began studying it as a freshman in high school. In junior college I continued taking Spanish and soon found that I enjoyed those classes more than those pertaining to my major at the time. This prompted me to switch majors from Architecture to Spanish. Before transferring to CSUN I completed an AA in both Spanish and French. At CSUN I obtained my BA & MA in the Spanish language. While the bulk of my graduate studies pertained to Spanish literature, I particularly enjoy the grammar aspect of the language. I've always enjoyed learning other languages and as a non-native speaker of Spanish, I have a firsthand understanding of the troubles and frustrations that accompany its study as a second language.
