Hi,

My name is Keith, and it's very nice to meet you!

I am most interested in becoming a guitar teacher (beginning, intermediate, and advanced). I've been playing guitar for 13 years now, and have performed at various places around North County San Diego. In addition to being a qualified guitar teacher, I'm also a CBEST certified elementary instructor in Math and English.

I have on-the-job experience working with special needs students as an assistant teacher at Stuart Mesa Elementary on Camp Pendleton, as well as on-the-job experience teaching guitar at La Costa Meadows Elementary in San Marcos.

For guitar lessons I will either provide students with a book called "From Liverpool to Abbey Road", or I can work with students on materials which they already have. For elementary Math and English, I will either provide students with basic workbooks or work through their textbooks with them.

Guitar

From 2000 to 2004, I took weekly formalized guitar lessons. I have since written 5 albums worth of original songs, the first of which I have recorded. I have performed at a variety of restaurants and venues around North County San Diego. In addition, I have taught basic guitar to elementary school students at La Costa Meadows Elementary in San Marcos, California through the California Conservatory for Musical Arts.

Theatre

I attended California State University, Long Beach from 2007 to 2011 and obtained a bachelor's of the arts in theater from said University over that period of time. In particular, I take great interest in the works of William Shakespeare and John Steinbeck. My favorite play is called, "The Mighty Gents", by Richard Wesley.

Voice (Music)

My bachelor's degree is in Theater Arts, and I have several years of formal vocal training. In addition, I have written 5 albums worth of original songs, the first of which is recorded.

Soccer

I trained and played in the Oceanside Soccer League in Oceanside, California from the age of 6 to the age of 13, and played on the freshman soccer team of Carlsbad High School in Carlsbad, California in 2003 and 2004.

Film

I am an aspiring film actor and screenwriter. I am currently revising an original feature length screenplay intended for general audiences as a science fiction and adventure film. As a theater major at California State University, Long Beach from 2007 to 2011, I studied films along with plays, and continue to study films outside of school now that I have graduated.
