My name is Megan, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to provide the highly beneficial skill of conversational Chinese to any student.

Since I so thoroughly enjoyed learning it during my six years of study in Guangzhou, China, I am eager to utilize this skill in the effective methods that I learned them. I have invested in seven years of tutoring students from kindergarten age to middle-age business people and, in doing so, refined tutoring skills that are interactive, professional, and varied based on student learning style and preferences.

As I am in my last semester of study at Liberty University Online, my schedule is flexible to accommodate students' most convenient hours and locations.

Through ESL classes taken for my major in Education and years of practice teaching Chinese and Russian students English classes, I am capable of providing experienced, enjoyable, and effective lessons in English. My past students have shown remarkable progress in their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. I offer lessons that meet the students where they are at and accommodate visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners.

Chinese

I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese at level 4 according to HSK test. My 6 years of residency in China were spent learning Chinese through local Chinese tutors, private textbook studies, and daily practice of what I had learned. My experience in tutoring it includes the speaking, listening, reading and writing components with an understanding of language history and current local usage.
