Business Tutor: Quickbooks, Accounting, Microsoft

Hello, fellow students and prospective parents,

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Paula and this is the second tutoring website I have worked with in the past few years. Previously, the tutoring website I offered my services at consisted primarily of high school teenagers. Even though I enjoyed working teenagers, I am looking forward to also assisting adults who are pursuing courses to obtain a degree or to improve their opportunities for advancement in the workforce. In addition, I also taught courses at a local college and adult education center.

The subjects I am immediately available for are: Quickbooks Pro, business math,computer skills, and accounting. I am also available for proofing essays and term papers.

My goal is to ensure you understand the subject you are studying and that you can put the subject material to immediate use. My teaching philosophy encompasses the concept of critical thinking and ensuring students thoroughly understand the subject they are studying.

I taught Beginning computers for ROP (adult education)for about two years. If you would like to learn Excel, I would be happy to tutor you. I can provide you one-on-one instructions with handouts and exercises to complete or for a short lesson I can give information to learn a area your are having problems with.

Reading

My background is in business; however, I have taken an interest in k-12 reading when I completed courses for an early childhood education certificate where I gained exposure to third graders with reading problems. In addition, I experienced reading problems when my son had to correct a speak impediment he had which affected his reading skills.
