Tom E. is a retired math teacher as well as a former business executive. He started out as a math teacher way back in the early 1960's but switched careers when he discovered computers in 1965. After a 30+ year business career as an Information Systems executive, he decided to return to teaching and has taught math at both the middle school and high school levels. He enjoys working with teenagers and has had success with students who "aren't into math", as well as those who strive to excel.
He has taught both Algebra1 and Algebra2, Geometry and Trigonometry as well as Precalculus. He has had excellent success with both remedial and honor students.
Tom lives in the Tri Cities area of North San Diego county at the edge of Oceanside and Vista near Shadowridge and Melrose, just north of Palomar Airport Road and south of the 78, equally convenient to Carlsbad, Oceanside, San Marcos and Vista.
