I have almost 10 years tutoring experience at the college level. I have experience tutoring a wide variety of students with varying experience in mathematics. I take great pleasure in watching the look on my students faces as understanding finally starts to dawn on them. I continue to try different methods with my students until I find the method that works for them. I believe that all students have the capability to understand mathematics, most of the students that struggle seem to have very little confidence in their ability. I try my best to instill that confidence in my students in order to enable them to succeed later on in school.

Mathematics and the sciences have always been a passion of mine. I enjoy not only learning these subjects, but also teaching them as well. I tend to be very patient in my approach, and try to get a grip on the areas that my students may be struggling in. I will work with them on their homework, review their previous tests, and even try some worksheet exercises if needed. I have the majority of my tutoring experience in the following subjects: Pre-algebra, Algebra I (Beginning Algebra), Algebra II (Intermediate Algebra), College Algebra, Trigonometry, Business Calculus, Pre-calculus, Calculus, and some Statistics. Please be advised that I do require the tutoring sessions to be administered in a public location (I usually use a Starbucks or someplace that has a food court) in order to maintain a safe and professional experience. I do ask that I be given at least 24 hours notice in the event that you need to cancel a tutoring appointment. Failure to do this could result in being charged for the time that it takes to travel to and from the tutoring site. I look forward to enlightening your student in the area of mathematics and starting him or her on the road to understanding. Thank you for your consideration of me as your students tutor.
