Study Arabic with a native Egyptian.
Hey guys! I am offering a casual setting for anyone excited to study both conversational and grammatical (Nahou) Arabic. I am a native Arabic speaker and speak English fluently. With the goal of improving your skills I will happily create a schedule and study materials based on your needs. My Arabic roots are Egyptian and I am comfortable with Fusha Arabic as well as the Egyptian, Syrian, Lebanese dialects.
I have a lot of experience teaching Arabic over the years. My conversational experience comes from building relationships with international friends and my more formal training comes from a professional setting where I worked for a student exchange organization in Cairo. Both atmospheres were exciting and helped me develop a good understanding of language exchange including how to teach from different alphabets, discussing different idioms, and being respectful of different cultures.
I am also offering general computer classes (no programming or computer language). I have a great understanding of general computer use and would be happy to translate and teach computer systems to computer illiterate individuals. I am very familiar with using most systems as my general computer knowledge comes from growing up through the '80s and '90s with my father who is a computer engineer professor. I began learning and using computers when the format was DOS and windows was in its early stage of 3.11. I have set up networks, rebuilt computers, and formatted and installed all types of operating systems.
My teaching methods are simple, direct, and easy. I am very patient and I believe in fun educational methods rather than strenuous ones. I like to make teaching a pleasant and informative experience. My belief regarding teaching is if you have a genuine understanding of something then you can explain it very simply and help others to learn what it is they wish to learn.
