Hello,

My name is Kira and I may be the ideal tutor for you.

I graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's in History with a double minor in Spanish and Classics. I recently completed my teaching credential program at Cal State East Bay, and will be starting my Master's program in June. I am able to tutor students in English and History/social studies. I can also help with spelling, reading and vocabulary. I can tutor math and science at the elementary level. I am also able to tutor in Spanish (reading, writing, conversation).

Besides being a tutor, I am a substitute teacher and have been an aid in various classrooms. I have experience with students of all ages.

I work with the students and find their specific needs and will cater to their learning style so that they are able to succeed to the best of their ability. I can use worksheets if needed or use a hands- on approach and use concrete examples and experiences if needed.

Ballet

I have taken ballet since I was 5 years old, so I have a total of 18 years of training. I taught ballet to 3-8 year olds for a year. I have training in classical ballet and have performed in the Nutcracker with the Oakland ballet. I know the history of ballet, and am able to help with movements or motions.

If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
