I have taught city planning at the undergraduate and graduate college levels, but have been most gratified mentoring staff in the workplace, where I have spent most of my career. I am currently retired, using much of my time to sculpt, paint and to do etchings, lithographs and pastels. I enjoy working with individuals, seeking out those interests and talents that may yet to be discovered, exploring ideas together, nourishing those interests. My primary objective is not primarily to build expertise, but to build self-confidence, so that the student will be comfortable venturing forth to explore interests on his or her own.
I would welcome the opportunity to meet with parent and student to see if our working relationship is likely to be a good "fit."
