I am an experienced instructor/teacher/professor/tutor who holds a Masters degree in Linguistics from Brown University.
I was a Wien International Scholar in college and graduated magna cum laude with phi beta kappa honor. As a graduate student, I earned the honor of being the recipient of a University Fellowship as well as the Galner Memorial Fellowship.
I have taught English as a Second Language at the college level. I have also tutored English and SAT to high school students. In addition, I have taught piano to children and adults. I have also directed choirs for many years.
I am bilingual in Chinese and English and have served as an interpreter (spoken language) as well as a translator (written language) professionally.
In short, I have many years of experience in teaching. I trust I can be effective in my teaching and tutoring. I try to make learning fun yet strive to get results.
