I am a recently retired data analyst and a former instructor of Information Systems at a technical college. In both Excel and Access you can learn how to use Visual Basic (VBA) to write your own functions, create macros, automate your applications, and how to link Excel with Access to create really efficient information processing. In accounting I can take you from original entry through financial statements, including cash flow statements, payroll, A/R aging, accounting for and reporting of accruals and deferred revenue, cost of goods sold and more.
