Drawing has always been my passion since very early childhood.
Since the 90's to the present, I am a working, community contributing freelance illustrator, graphic designer and exhibiting fine artist.
My tutoring experience started in Bonn, Germany, teaching part- time kindergarten- 4th graders ESL through English nursery rhymes, I sang and played on guitar. Back here in my native California, since 2005, I have taught adults, middle and high school students traditional gestural energy drawing and Japanese manga at Frank Bette Center for the Arts, Alameda, the now closed Children's Art Studio, Alameda and most currently de- mystifying art techniques for kids at Le Petite Matisse, Alameda.
Following the live and give traditions of my Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, CA and Center for Creative Studies, Detroit, MI instructors, I am here to offer my professional skills, techniques and tips in traditional, vector, raster and fine art.
I am all about hands on instruction. We should have an agreed upon project to ensure you have something visually tangible to be proud of at the conclusion of our work together.
Let's have fun!
