I grew up in a small city in the San Gabriel Valley. I was always into sports, nature, and the outdoors - which is why I eventually picked an emphasis in the biological sciences. I attended a private tutoring company ever since I was in grade school and, eventually, I started working there as a tutor starting my junior year in high school. I continued working there for a couple years until I decided to become a full-time student to study psychology. I chose this major because I wanted to better understanding the dynamics of behavior and social interactions. I never forgot about my roots though - I am part of CSUN's sports psychology lab and am also interning at a Crossfit gym near Northridge, where I now reside. I love teaching and I enjoy helping people accomplish their goals whether they be academic or physical.
