My name is JaVael and am currently a student at Csun, Pierce, and Moorpark. This past school year, I worked at Taft High School and was a tutor in their college preparatory program AVID. It's a program that prepares students for college with helping them with organization and time management, but its main focus is helping students understand how to ask a question when they cant figure out the answer. As a tutor it was my job to tutor ninth and tenth in their core classes (Math, English, Science, History) and some electives. I would say my best quality is being able to relate the subject to the student, once you relate it to them, they understand it more.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
