I am an experienced tutor certified in over 50 subjects. I'm a college graduate of Tufts University, Medford, MA and have passed my CBEST and worked with children for the past 15 years. I have taught in all environments in ratios of 1:1 to 8:1. For example, I have home-schooled a 12-year old, tutored part-time at Huntington Learning Center and for the past two summers, I have taught SAT Math and Geometry in a classroom environment (Top Learning Center and Perfect Score Academy). I actually just took an SAT where I got a perfect 800 in math and 760 in verbal.
I can tutor in such subjects as all types of standardized tests (ACT/SAT/GRE), math (algebra/geometry), reading, writing, and biology. In addition to traditional subjects, I can also teach your child to read, refine their study skills or even improve their athletic ability.
I have a car, a clean driving record and passed a recent background check.

Of all the subjects I tutor, SAT math is my specialty. I have helped almost 100 students over the years raise their score, sometimes by 100s of points. Having gotten perfect scores of 800 on practice tests myself I can transfer that know-how to your child and uncover what words or concepts they don't understand which would block them from full certainty. I greatly enjoy seeing my students discover the solution for themselves rather than spoon-feeding them. I look forward to helping your student.

Awesome — Evan is awesome! Very patient and laid back. I am not a quick learner when it comes to math and Evan always takes his time explaining things and has no problem going over the same problem as man times he needs to, to make sure I understand the material. My skills have definitely improved in the short time we've been working together. ...
