Hello everyone :) Recent graduate of Boston University, where I received my BFA in Acting and also continued my studies in Psychology, Biology, and English literature and composition. I never expected to find myself in the path of teaching, but my first summer in 'post-grad life' I happened upon the fortunate experience of being a 1:1 aid and tutor for a wonderful, fourteen year-old boy on the autism spectrum, who taught me patience, ambition, and out-of-the-box thinking. Since then I have flourished in the realm of tutoring and teaching, from students at elementary level all the way up to college undergraduates, whether in the subjects of math and sciences or in the artful crafts on the stage and in the kitchen.

I look forward to meeting with you, and discovering how we can collaborate on an individual basis to formulate a teaching plan that is both engaging and illuminating for either yourself or your child, or both. Education is a group process, the 'old' sharing with the 'young' of their learnings and experiences, and I am glad to help make it a fun and successful process.

Theatre

I am a recent graduate of Boston University's BFA Acting program, where I studied the acting techniques of Meisner, Stanislavski, and Grotowski; the movement techniques of Alexander, Overlie, and Laban; and the vocal techniques of Linklater and Toussaint; as well as thorough instruction in Shakespeare, theatrical and film acting, dramatic literature, and others. I've two years of experience in coaching and teaching.

Cooking

I began crafting in the kitchen at an early age thanks to my aunt's homecooking, and have since followed my nose to self-teach my way into cooking, baking and desert creating. My specialties range from Thanksgiving feasts to savory butternut squash soup in homemade breadbowls to the illusive-and-decadent New York cheesecake. If the desire to create is as strong as the want to consume, I'm positive we'll be able to mold those hands into self-made masters of any and all cuisines.

Aspergers

I had the fortunate experience in the summer of 2012 in Boston, MA of meeting and working with a wonderful boy of 14 on the autism spectrum.
