I have been playing and studying music since I was 7 years old, and have been doing music ever since. I attended Musician's Institute where I graduated at the top of my class. I have been recording and gigging in the Los Angeles area with a variety of different bands. I know what it takes to be a working musician. In my lessons, you can expect that your child will leave feeling like a rock star, and still get all the academic benefits that music provides. I tailor each lesson to the student, making sure that they are always enjoying themselves as they learn, and continue to want to learn more.

Ear Training

I began singing at the age of 6 when I joined the All American Boys Choir. I studied at Musicians Institute, and during my time there, I was able to develop my ear even more. While studying voice, guitar, and bass, I've had to learn hundreds of songs by ear. This has made me able to pick tunes, chords, melodies, and harmonies up by ear very quickly.

I started playing guitar at age 6 when my parents got me private lessons. I continued to study privately for 15 years. In High School, I started to teach guitar to other high school students, as well as children in my area. I attended Musicians Institute where I graduated at the top of my class. Sight Singing

I started my musical career in the All American Boys Choir. From an early age, we were trained to sight sing music before we learned it. I continued to study this all my life, through private lessons, and while studying at Musicians Institute. I have been teaching sight singing for over 5 years, to all of my students. I do this, because I find that even guitar players have a better musical understanding if they can sing what they are playing.

I began singing at the age of 6 when I joined the All American Boys Choir. We were taught theory, ear training, sight singing, and vocal technique. I continued studying voice privately, and in my High School choir. I have been gigging around town playing and singing for the past 7 years. I have over 6 years of private teaching experience.
