I am a recent graduate from California Polytechnic University-Pomona summa cum laude. I graduated with a degree in International Business and Marketing and have taken an intense interest in helping children with their education.
I achieved a 3.8 GPA which serves as evidence that I am dedicated and ambitious when it comes to learning. I believe that when one studies a material they should thoroughly understand it, inside and out, in order for it to be a lifelong lesson, not a temporary one.
For over two years, I have held private tutoring sessions for college students in both English and Algebra. I was also a camp counselor for 5-8 year olds and believe that it is only when you build relationships with children that they are the most open to listening and learning from you. Each individual has a unique learning style and that is why I first understand the child's learning behavior and then proceed with the right strategy to tutor the most effectively.

I am fluent in Spanish and can assist with ESL students. My hispanic background gives me the capacity to clearly understand the child's strengths and weaknesses.
