I obtained my Bachelor's degree from California State University Northridge. My degree is a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. I have tutored for almost two years now, mostly math and science. I have a strong background in biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics including calculus and statistics. I can also teach basic grade school sciences. I tutor grade school students, grades 1 through 12, in these mentioned subjects. First, I will assess the student by testing their knowledge of the subject. Based on the assessment, I will structure a lesson plan that will focus on the student's weaknesses and reinforce the student's strengths of the subject. I am available for tutoring the student at the student’s home with someone 18 or older in the home, or at a public library (no supervision required). My schedule is very flexible, and I will work around the student’s school schedule and parent’s work schedule (if necessary). I enjoy every moment of tutoring, and I will work hard to make it a great and exciting experience for the student. I work with the utmost respect for the student and their family. I will work persistently to help the student enjoy the subject and not grow a grudge against it. I will help them to improve their test taking skills, and work on study methods. I believe every student will get ahead if given the individualized attention and instructed in the right path to success. If interested, I am more than willing to work with students that want to learn and show need for improvement.
