I was a chemical engineer for 7 years. After this I became a certified/credentialed teacher and I taught chemistry, chemistry honors, biology, and physics. I am currently taking some time off as a teacher so that I can raise my 3 lovely children. I love teaching and I'm looking for an opportunity to tutor students on my schedule. The sciences and math are a passion of mine, ever since I took those classes as a high school student. If I can help others in any way to understand the subject matter like I, then I feel like I've met my goal!

I have been an engineer, which stretches you to learn math all the way to Differential Equations. Also in Chemistry, Algebra is used quite often.

Biology

I have taught Biology for 3 years and it is another passion of mine. I enjoy the subject matter. Biology has a lot to do with memorization due to the vocabulary needed to succeed in this topic. I find myself telling my students it's like learning a new language!

Chemistry

Chemistry is a true passion of mine. There is nothing I do not enjoy about this topic. Memorization helps you in this topic but understanding will take you much farther.
